This policy explains what information Dairy Pariwar collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Dairy Pariwar to help dairy-industry businesses across India connect with customers and each other — protecting your data is part of that trust.
1. Introduction
Dairy Pariwar ("we", "us", "our") operates dairypariwar.app, a directory that helps dairy-industry businesses in India — farms, milk-processing units, equipment suppliers, feed and fodder dealers, veterinary services, and more — get discovered, and helps visitors find them.
This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who visits the site, creates an account, lists a business, or subscribes to a paid plan. By using Dairy Pariwar, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password (stored encrypted) when you register, plus profile details you choose to add.
- Business listing information — business name, category, address, contact details, photos, description, and hours that you submit when listing a business. This information is shown publicly on your listing page once approved.
- Usage information — pages viewed, search terms, device type, approximate location (from IP address), and referring pages, collected automatically to keep the directory fast, relevant, and secure.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account, and verify business listings before they go live.
- Operate core features — search, browse, category filters, and the business dashboard.
- Process subscription payments and send related receipts and reminders.
- Send service messages (account verification, listing status, important updates) and, where you've opted in, product news.
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the platform.
- Improve the app through aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics.
5. Payments & Subscription Data
Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed Indian payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details on our servers — Razorpay handles payment data directly under its own security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).
We retain a record of your subscription status, plan, and payment history (amount, date, and transaction reference) to manage your account and for accounting and tax purposes.
7. Data Retention
We keep account and listing information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, payment records) for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You can, at any time:
- Review and update your account and listing details from your dashboard.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your account and associated data.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email.

9. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted passwords, HTTPS in transit, and access controls on our servers — to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly to any incident.
10. Children's Privacy
Dairy Pariwar is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where changes are significant, we'll let registered users know.
